Brief Intro

Vibrating feeder refers to a kind of equipment that can uniformly, regularly and continuously feed blocky and granular materials from the storage bin to the receiving device. In the sand and gravel production line, it can continuously and evenly feed the crushing machinery, and coarsely screen the materials. It is widely used in the combined crushing and screening equipment in metallurgy, coal mines, mineral processing, building materials, chemicals, abrasives and other industries.

Vibration Feeder Working Principle

The vibrating feeder uses the rotation of the eccentric block in the vibrator to generate centrifugal force, so that the movable parts such as the screen box and the vibrator perform forced continuous circular or approximate circular motion. The vibration source of the trough vibration feeding is the vibrator. The drive shaft is driven by the motor through the V-belt, and the gear on the drive shaft is engaged with the driven shaft to rotate. The drive and driven shafts rotate in reverse at the same time, making the tank vibrate and making the material flow continuously to achieve the purpose of conveying materials.

Frequently Asked Questions

When the vibrating feeder is used for batching and quantitative feeding, it should be installed horizontally to ensure uniform and stable feeding and prevent the material from flowing by itself. For continuous feeding of conventional materials, it can be installed 10° downwards. For viscous materials and materials with high water content, they can be installed at an angle of 15°.

Before the no-load test of the vibrating feeder, all bolts should be tightened once, especially the anchor bolts of the vibrating motor, and should be tightened again for 3-5 hours of continuous operation.

The lubrication of the vibrating motor bearing is the key to the regular operation of the whole vibrating feeder. Grease should be regularly added to the bearing during use, once every two months, and once a month during high-temperature seasons.
