16-18TPD Modular Gold CIL Processing Plant In Guinea

This is a 16-18 TPD modular gold CIL processing plant designed and built by JXSC Mining Machinery Factory for a Guinean customer. The production line adopts the classic “crushing – grinding – classification – cyanide leaching – activated carbon adsorption – desorption electrolysis – smelting” process. All equipment is integrated and skid-mounted in four 40-inch containers. From ore input to final output of finished gold, one-stop closed-loop production is achieved. The entire modular gold CIL process plant has a compact layout, leaching and adsorption are performed simultaneously in the same tank, and it has a high degree of integration. In addition, a tailings treatment unit has been specially designed to ensure resource recycling and environmental protection standards. This small modular gold CIL processing solution combines the advantages of efficient gold extraction and recovery rate are as high as 95%+, low operating costs, and rapid installation & production.

Feeding & Fine Crushing System(40TPD, work 10 hours per day)

Ore is fed into a hopper and evenly delivered by an electromagnetic vibrating feeder into a hammer crusher, reducing rock from 50mm to below 10mm. Crushed material is then transferred to a transit hopper via belt conveyor.

Grinding System (16-18TPD, work 24 hours per day)

Another electromagnetic vibrating feeder under the transit hopper ensures uniform feeding into the ball mill, where the ore is ground into fine powder to liberate the gold particles. The mill discharge flows into a spiral classifier for classification; oversize sand returns to the ball mill for regrinding, forming a closed circuit. The final product achieves 70-80% passing 200 mesh (0.074mm).

Leaching Pretreatment(16-18TPD, work 24 hours per day)

Fine slurry from the classifier flows to a slurry tank, then is pumped through a safety screen to a tube thickener. Thickener overflow goes to settling ponds for water recycling; the underflow enters a mixing tank, where chemicals are added, before being pumped to the leaching tanks.

Leaching & Activated Carbon Adsorption

Slurry flows through 6 double-impeller adsorption agitation tanks with activated carbon and a Roots blower for aeration. Activated carbon adsorbs the gold to become gold-loaded carbon, which is extracted by carbon lifters.

Desorption, Electrolysis & Smelting

The gold-loaded carbon passes through a safety screen and enters a normal-temperature, normal-pressure desorption electrolysis system to strip the gold and produce gold mud. The gold mud is dried in a drying oven and then melted in a gold smelting furnace to cast the final gold bars.

 Tailing Water Recycling System

Tailing slurry passes through a linear vibrating screen to recover residual carbon. The under-screen slurry is pumped to a filter press for dewatering, and the filtered water is recycled back to the system.
