Heavy-Duty Hammer Crusher

Large-Capacity Crusher With Wide Feed Size & One-Pass Forming

Our heavy-duty hammer crusher supports both dry and wet crushing modes. Wet crushing utilizes water spraying to reduce dust, while dry crushing is suitable for materials with low moisture content. The high-speed rotation of the heavy-duty hammers generates a powerful impact force, crushing materials to the ideal particle size in a single pass. Featuring a “one-step forming” characteristic, it can be used for both primary and secondary crushing, significantly simplifying the production process while also substantially reducing energy consumption and costs. It is widely applicable to various working conditions, including large-scale mining crushing, building material aggregate production, cement raw material processing, metallurgical slag recycling, and construction waste recycling.

Краткое введение

Сайт heavy-duty hammer crusher is a large-scale crushing equipment further designed for high-hardness, large-sized materials within the hammer crusher series. It achieves crushing through the impact of high-speed rotating hammers, boasting the core advantage of single-feed forming. Our heavy-duty hammer crusher utilizes tungsten-titanium alloy hammers and an optimized crushing chamber design. The discharge particle size can be flexibly controlled by adjusting the grate spacing, meeting various crushing requirements from coarse to fine. It is commonly used for dry or wet crushing of medium-hardness ores or stones such as gold, iron ore, copper ore, limestone, coal gangue, gypsum, and basalt. The finished product has uniform particle size and excellent shape, with no flaky smooth particles. The multi-angled and multi-faceted particle morphology ensures compressive strength, meeting high-specification engineering material standards.

Compared to traditional PC hammer crushers, the heavy-duty hammer crusher has heavier hammers and stronger rotor kinetic energy. It integrates coarse and medium-fine crushing functions, suitable for single-pass crushing of large materials, eliminating the need for a pre-jaw crusher and reducing the need for secondary crushing. Especially suitable for scenarios with stringent aggregate quality requirements, such as highways and large-scale engineering projects. The JXSC heavy hammer crusher balances output and finished product particle size control, and has the advantages of high efficiency, energy saving, and environmental protection, making it an ideal choice to replace traditional coarse or primary дробилки.

welded from thick steel plates, it is more rigid and can withstand heavy loads.

Преимущества

1. High crushing ratio: The maximum feed particle size can reach 1200mm, and the crushing ratio is as high as 10-25. A single machine can complete coarse, medium and fine crushing operations.

2. Single-Step Crushing: Eliminates the primary crushing step, reducing equipment investment and production processes, and lowering crushing costs by over 30%.

3. Easy Maintenance: such as hammers and liners, feature a modular design for quick replacement, improving equipment uptime.

4. Excellent Particle Shape: Crushed products are cubical with less than 5% needle-like and flaky particles, meeting the stringent requirements for aggregate particle shape in high-grade highways, high-speed railways, and other projects, thus increasing product added value.

5. Dry and Wet Compatibility:Adaptable to both dry and wet crushing scenarios, maintaining stable operation even with material moisture content ≤10%.

6. Superior Durability: Key components utilize wear-resistant materials such as manganese steel and tungsten-titanium alloy, ensuring long hammer lifespan and trouble-free operation time.

7. High Adaptability: Capable of handling materials with a moisture content of 8-10%, the discharge particle size can be adjusted by changing the grate spacing to meet diverse production needs.

8. Environmentally Friendly: The fully sealed design, combined with a pulse dust removal system, results in low dust emission concentrations, meeting national environmental protection standards.

Heavy-Duty Hammer Crusher Working Principle

The heavy-duty hammer crusher uses a motor-driven rotor to rotate at high speed, causing the hammers to impact the material. Upon entering the crushing chamber, the material is immediately subjected to high-speed impact, shearing, and grinding by the hammers. It then collides with the impact plate for further fragmentation, and finally, the finished product of the required particle size is screened through the bottom grate. Material smaller than the screen gap passes directly through the screen and is discharged, while coarse particles larger than the screen gap continue to be repeatedly struck by the hammers on the screen until they reach the required particle size.

Часто задаваемые вопросы

A (ZPC) heavy hammer crusher has larger hammers and stronger rotor inertia, allowing it to directly crush large raw ore pieces. It is more suitable for medium-hardness materials and continuous high-intensity operations. (PC) Ordinary hammer crushers require pre-crushing, have a small feed opening, and are mostly used for medium and fine crushing of low-hardness materials. Furthermore, heavy hammer crushers can produce smaller output particles in a single pass, reducing the need for secondary crushing.

A heavy-duty hammer crusher is suitable for medium-hard materials with low abrasiveness: limestone, iron ore, copper ore, bricks, and tiles with a compressive strength ≤150MPa and a moisture content <15%. It is recommended to avoid crushing highly abrasive materials to prevent accelerated hammer wear.

Yes. A heavy hammer crusher has a feed opening width of up to 1.2 meters, allowing it to directly process mined ore (≤1200mm), and produces more uniform output particle size. However, if the ore’s hardness and compressive strength are >200MPa, it is recommended to retain the jaw crusher as the primary crusher.

Our heavy-duty hammer crusher employs a specially designed anti-clogging structure, solving this problem through a grate-less design. If the material moisture content is >8%, we recommend equipping it with a heated rotor or adding a scraper device to reduce the material moisture content first, but the additional cost is slightly higher.

Yes. However, please note that the heavy hammer crusher’s weight must be matched with a mobile chassis with sufficient load capacity. Contact JXSC engineers for customized wheeled or tracked mobile crushers.

Heavy hammer crushers are suitable for medium-hardness (≤150MPa) materials such as limestone, coal, and shale, and can directly crush large materials (≤1200mm).

Роторные дробилки are suitable for medium-hard materials (≤180MPa) such as granite and basalt, but require pre-treatment with a jaw crusher.

Such as: If the material hardness exceeds 150MPa (such as granite), the impact crusher is more suitable, but the cost is higher. If the material is medium-hard and large in size, the heavy hammer crusher is the optimal choice, reducing costs while ensuring efficiency.

First, you need to determine the hardness, moisture content, and particle size of the raw material. If the raw material contains sticky components (such as clay), the moisture content must be controlled to ≤8% to avoid clogging the screen. The best selection should combine three core parameters: feed particle size, discharge particle size, and production capacity. We recommend providing the raw material parameters to JXSC so that our professional team can customize the optimal дробилка model.
